I'm Marissa, the owner of Marissa's Boston Pet Care.

Animals have always been a big part of my life. Growing up, my family had a Cocker Spaniel–Black Lab mix, followed by a Dachshund–Chihuahua mix, giving me experience with both large and small breeds. I also had a playful tabby cat named Chloe, whose energetic personality made me appreciate cats just as much as dogs.

Today, I help care for my brother's Australian Shepherd mix, Loki, who keeps me active with daily walks, hikes, and plenty of playtime. I'm always happy to tailor each visit to their energy level and personality.

Outside of pet care, I'm a Content Writer at CVS Health and graduated from Bentley University in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and a minor in Information Design & Corporate Communication (IDCC). I was a collegiate swimmer throughout college and continue to stay active by training for half marathons and marathons while still swimming for fun.

I started Marissa's Boston Pet Care because I know how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust with your pets and your home. My goal is to provide dependable, personalized care that keeps your pets comfortable, happy, and on their normal routine while you're away.

Every visit includes photo updates! I'm happy to send updates as little or as often as you'd like, so you always know how your pet is doing. Before any new service begins, I schedule a complimentary meet-and-greet and ask all new clients to complete a short intake form. This gives us the opportunity to get to know one another, discuss your pet's routine and care needs, and ensure we're the right fit before your first booking.
